Graphite is such a simple medium. It astounds me what one can get out of a stick of graphite and it all depends on how we use it. Life is like that.
I was asked by the Waiuku Museum to paint a mural of the original fire truck that was in service in 1936. A photograph with people standing in front of it was the only true reference photo they had. Had to break it down and build it back up again to get this reference. See more about this image in murals section.
