Step by step, of the process on the Pencil to Paint Layering course
The different stages of a students work. Ann had not really had a lot of experience in drawing and this was her first course under Claires guidance. The course is on average 8 weeks. A short drawing course before joining Layering sees each student manage this course with greater ease but not essential.
Each stage is carefully explained and the student and has consistent input through the whole process. It is one of the most fascinating processes and highly successful in achieving a higher level of detail.
There are two courses in the second term starting May 5th.
Estuary Art Centre Wednesdays, starts 5th May, 9:30 - 12:30pm
Warkworth Studio Thursdays, starts 6th May, 10 -12:30pm

Beginner or experienced lets hone your skills and learn to up skill your drawing practice. If you are wanting that detail for a more realistic approach in your paintings this is the course for you. Gator Foam Board 605 x 798mm or suitable hard board to tape the paper to
