Creative Technical Skills Course
We are delighted to be able to bring to you the Creative Technical Skills Course. After much deliberation, we have spent the last year putting together workshops for Primary and Intermediate Teachers in our Schooling system. An all round general skill improvement you can apply to the classroom straight away.
There are so many great teachers out there and they are expected to be knowledgeable at every aspect of teaching, including extensive subject knowledge. This is where this series of workshops come in. We have put together this series to develop your skills, enabling you to then confidently deliver it to your students no matter their age or skill level. This includes your skill level, it really does not matter if you draw stick men to do the course.
In this 2 day workshop you will learn at your pace and your skill level, learnable skills with the modern day tools and tools you already have in the classroom so that you can confidently pass this knowledge onto the age group demand of the children you have in your classroom.
Drawing a 3D object with light shadows and form is a skill that can be applied to anything you can put to paper.
As a result this workshop will enable you to work with the children with confidence and not need the use of Youtube instructional videos for references.
We will also delve into the child who has a natural talent and love for art and drawing and how to feed and nourish those skills.
You will take with you :
* How to effectively draw anything
* What tools to use
* How to better use the tools we already have in the classroom
* Interesting ways to use graphite
* Practical mini projects you can do with your children with resources you already have
* Coloured Pencils
* Blending and how to go about it
* Blending in any medium with any project
* Finding the light source
* How to add light
* How to add Shadows effectively
* How to use life drawing and reference photos effectively
* Understanding the technical aspects of drawing making drawing easier
